Post Referendum BBQ

EVENT DATE: 15/10/2023

This Saturday 14th October, Australia will head to the voting booths to determine if they support the proposed change to the constititution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aborginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.

By Saturday night, we will know if the result is “Yes”, or “No.

On Sunday 15th October, we want to provide a space for our community to come together, regardless of the result, to hold space and share thoughts, feelings and just be together.

A community smoking ceremony, yarn and BBQ will be held.

Between the hours of 10am and 12pm, we would like to invite mob only to come together and yarn and hold space for each other.

From 12pm – 2pm onwards, we invite all of our other non-Indigenous amazing Yes campaigners and volunteers who have walked with us along this journey, to join the mob.
