After three years of hosting our own “Mob Run This” walk/run around the Barwon River, this year Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative will be joining in the NAIDOC Running Festival at Presidents Park in Wyndham Vale!

This event is free for all to participate, Wathaurong will be running buses to Wyndham Vale from North Geelong for anyone in our community who wants to get involved. Please make sure you fill out a seperate registration form for each person.

The day will commence at 10am with a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony and traditional dance performance, followed by a free 1km, 3km, 5km or 10km run/walk. Free medal and running singlet provided for participants. Following the run, lunch will be provided as well as cultural activities and stalls from local services.
