interested peoples for casual kitchen hand positions at
our Kitjarra Student Residence
- HEW 3 Casual positions
- Working with Children Check required
- Food handlers certificate required
The role is situated at Kitjarra Residence at Deakin University’s Waurn
Ponds campus. You will assist in basic kitchen hand duties, including food
preparation supporting cooks preparing student meals.
The casual staff will work closely with the Kitjarra Cook and Kitjarra
Coordinator.
The role is a HEW 3 casual position with varied hours depending on Kitjarra
student intensive load. The start date is mid-February 2025.
The position requires a Working With Children’s Check (WWCC), a Food
Handlers Certificate, good customer service skills and a friendly attitude.
Some experience in a commercial kitchen would be desirable.
