The Balert Care Koorie Kitchen program scheduled for Friday 10th April 2026 has been cancelled. The next program will be running on Friday 24th April.

Balert Care is excited to announce the launch of a new community program, Koorie Kitchen. 

Koorie Kitchen is a welcoming, culturally safe program designed to bring people together through shared meals that spark memories, encourage connection, and promote awareness and understanding of dementia.

We recognise that dementia can be a sensitive topic for many, and this program will provide a supportive and safe space for participants, families, and community members.

We are also interested in hearing from anyone who has lived experience with dementia, either personally or through a loved one, who may be willing to share their story to help promote awareness within the community.

Program details:

• Commencing of the 27^th of February.
• Located at Hendy Street Hall, 38 Hendy Street, Corio.
• Starts at 12:00pm and finishes at 3:00pm.
