The day is free for everyone to get together and celebrate our culture. All are welcome to attend – mob and allies.

We are also seeking expression of interest for our Mob market, if you are a local Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island artist, creator or business who would like to sell your products at our NAIDOC Mob market, please fill out the expression of interest form below. Organisations can also have a stall please note –  Mob and organisations who provide services to mob will be prioritised.

COMMUNITY NAIDOC AWARDS:

Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative is calling for nominations for the 2026 NAIDOC Community Awards. If you have someone you wish to nominate, complete this online nomination form.

Nominations should be submitted by people who are active in the Wathaurong community.

Closing date for nominations will be 9:30am MONDAY 8th JUNE.

Ngarrwa Ngitj – Community Person
Nedok Yoongga – Elder/Respected Person
Koolay Goopma – Young Male Achiever (up to 25 yrs old)
Moordeemoondeek Goopma – Young Female Achiever (up to 25 yrs old)

Please provide as much information as possible about why you are nominating this person for an award, to help our judging panel assess the nominations.
